How to Promote Your Stallion

Promoting your stallion on Stallion Match is the most effective way to increase visibility, unlock valuable engagement insights, and connect directly with breeders. This feature is available to farms for a small annual fee and offers powerful promotional benefits on both Stallion Match and G1 Goldmine.

What’s Included in Stallion Promotion?

By promoting your stallion, your farm gains access to:

Direct messaging
Breeders can contact your farm directly through the platform — enquiries go straight to you.
Advanced engagement metrics
See how often your stallion is being viewed, which breeders are interacting, and how your profile is performing over time.
Enhanced visibility
Promoted stallions receive greater exposure in search results and may be featured in key placements across Stallion Match.
Profile management tools
Unlock additional editing features and tools to showcase your stallion in the best possible light.
Inclusion on G1Goldmine.com
Your stallion will also appear on G1Goldmine.com, giving you broader visibility with breeders who use G1 Goldmine’s analysis tools.

Your stallion will automatically be included in breeder reports run through G1 Goldmine, expanding your exposure beyond Stallion Match alone.

Step 1: Log in to Your Farm Dashboard

Visit www.stallionmatch.com
Log in with your email and password
From your Personal Dashboard, click the three dots next to your farm name
Select Farm Dashboard

Step 2: Navigate to Your Stallion Roster

Click Stallion Roster from the dropdown
You’ll see a visual list of all your current stallions with their promotional status
Each stallion tile shows:
- Year to Stud
- Profile Rating
- Promotion status
- A green promotion bar at the bottom of the tile (e.g. “Promote [Stallion Name] for Analytics”)

The stallion's tile shows important information, including how to promote him.

Step 3: Start the Promotion Process

Click the green Promote button at the bottom of the stallion’s tile
This will begin the promotion setup process for that stallion

Promoting is simple and takes only 10 seconds.

Step 4: Confirm Promotion Details

In the confirmation window, you’ll see:

Start Date (defaulting to today’s date)
12-month validity period with automatic expiry shown
A checkbox confirming your acceptance of the additional annual fee
A link to the Terms of Service
The “Add to Cart” button will activate once you confirm

Step 5: Complete Promotion and Activation

Once added to your cart and completed through checkout, your stallion will be:

Marked as Promoted on Stallion Match
Listed on G1 Goldmine
Eligible for all premium features, including messaging and analytics

Can I Promote More Than One Stallion?

Yes, you can promote as many stallions as you like. Repeat the promotion steps for each stallion you wish to include and add them to your cart. Once you’re done, complete a single checkout to activate all selected promotions.

Each promotion lasts 12 months from the chosen start date. You will receive a reminder to renew 7 days before your expiry date.
