How to Update Stallion Details (Name, Fee, Height, Status, etc.)

Keeping your stallion profiles accurate and up to date ensures breeders can make informed decisions when viewing your listing on Stallion Match. This guide explains how to update your stallion’s profile, including fee, height, colour, year to stud, and more.

Step 1: Log in to Stallion Match

• Go to www.stallionmatch.com
• Enter your email and password to log in

Step 2: Open Your Stallion List

• From your Personal Dashboard, locate your farm name just below your name
• Click the three dots next to your farm name
• Select Manage Stallions from the dropdown menu

This will open your farm’s Stallion List.

Step 3: Click “Edit” on the Stallion You Want to Update

• Find the stallion you wish to update
• Click the three dots to the right of the stallion listing
• Select Edit

This will open the Edit Stallion Profile window.

Step 4: Make Your Updates

In the Details tab of the Edit Stallion Profile screen, you can update:

• Fee Year
• Currency (e.g. AUD, NZD, USD)
• Stud Fee (option to make it private)
• Farm (from a dropdown list of linked farms)
• Year of Birth
• Height (Hands)
• Colour
• Year to Stud

Once you’ve made the necessary changes, you can:

• Click Skip to move through the next tabs (Gallery, Description, Testimonials) without making changes
• Click Save & Next to save your changes and proceed to the next section

Step 5: Confirm Your Updates

After saving your changes, they will be applied immediately to the stallion’s profile. You can view the public-facing version by:

• Returning to the Stallion List
• Clicking the three dots next to the stallion
• Selecting View Stallion Profile

Troubleshooting

I can’t access the Edit screen

Ensure you’re linked to a farm with the appropriate access level. If you’re unable to see the “Manage Stallions” option, please contact us at support@stallionmatch.com.

The name field is greyed out

For integrity purposes, stallion names are locked after creation. Reach out to support if you need this updated.

My changes aren’t saving

Make sure required fields like Stud Fee or Fee Year are complete. Try refreshing or logging out and back in if needed.
