1. Update Your Farm Profile
Ensure your farm’s public page is accurate and professional — this is what breeders will first see.
- Upload a logo and cover image (a strong visual impression matters).
- Check or update your overview to highlight your unique strengths. We’ve already generated an AI-written overview to help you get started — feel free to edit or enhance it.
- Confirm your location and contact information.
Tip: Keeping this page updated helps drive interest from breeders and improves your visibility across Stallion Match.
2. Review Each Stallion Profile
Your stallions are the heroes — make sure their profiles reflect that.
- Check or refine each stallion’s overview — we’ve already integrated an AI-generated overview to help you get started quickly.
- Upload conformation images or other media.
- Check key details like stud fee, height, and first season.
Stallions with rich profiles attract more breeder searches, which means better engagement, more messages, and stronger dashboard analytics.
3. Add Additional Users (Optional)
Want help managing your account or responding to breeder enquiries?
- Invite team members such as nomination/sales managers or marketing staff.
- Control access by assigning roles that suit their responsibilities.
User Roles Explained
Full Access
- Can edit farm and stallion profiles
- Can upload/edit images and media
- Can view breeder insights and dashboard analytics
- Can respond to breeder messages
- Can launch Boost campaigns
- Can invite or remove other users
Best for stallion managers, marketing staff, or sales/nomination members.
View Only
- Can see all stallion analytics associated with their farm
- Can respond to messages but not edit content
- Cannot launch Boost campaigns or manage users
Ideal for consultants or team members who need visibility but not editing rights.
3rd Party
- Can only view details about the stallion they are linked to
- Can't promote or unpromote a stallion
- Cannot view the whole farm dashboard or analytics
Designed for owners, agents, PR/media teams, or third-party vendors assisting with a specific stallion.
Tip: More team involvement means faster replies to breeders — and better lead conversion.
4. Ensure Active Stallion Promotion
If you’ve promoted your stallion for 12 months, every feature will be unlocked, including images, searches, additional analytics and breeder communication.
- It's easy to promote if you haven't already. Simply click the Promote button below your stallion tile within the Stallion Roster page.
- Select when you wish to start, add to cart and process payment. We'll take care of the rest!
Promoted stallions enjoy more traffic, more matings, and better performance on the platform — it’s one of the most effective ways to get seen.
💡 Best Practice: Drive Traffic, Check In Regularly
- Run your own searches — this helps you understand the platform better and contributes to the activity and insights shown in your dashboard.
- Encourage breeder engagement — the more breeders search your stallions, the more detailed and valuable your dashboard analytics become.
- Share links to your stallion pages via email, social media, or your website to drive breeder traffic. Button images can be downloaded on your Farm Dashboard, or contact us anytime.
- Check your dashboard weekly to monitor which mares and users are interested in your stallions.
- Keep profiles up to date. Small updates (e.g., a new photo and an updated fee) help maintain visibility and relevance.
The more active and visible you are, the richer your insights, helping you refine your strategy and connect with serious breeders.
